2025 Northern Ireland: A day of firsts!

The 2025 Northern Ireland Karate Championships was a day of success and achievements for the Worcestershire Karate Squad. This significant event, set in Lisburn, Belfast of Northern Ireland's was the first of many annual events for the Northern Ireland Karate Board, it was a day promising with inspiration, friendly competition, and a sense of belonging among karate enthusiasts.
Worcestershire Karate Squad results were nothing but astounding with an impressive 7 Golds, 11 Silver and 1 Bronze. An outline of the atheltes successes below:

This event was the first time in Worcestershire Karate squad history that not only did every member of the team win a medal but also the minimum in very category was a silver placement. Unbelievable results with an incredible squad of young atheletes. Whose sportsmanship shone above all others.
Also a huge thank you to the coaches on the day- Sensei Katrina, Sensei Freya and Kim O'Neill for keeping the day running smoothly, providing support and ensuring the team succeeded. Thank you to all the parents who supported this team, not only supporting their own child but everyone else's.
